Harris at JLNP

When T.H. Harris visited Jean Leffite National Park, the first thing I saw were all the old trees with moss, the old land, and little water passages. The first thing I thought was that it was beautiful. Then we listened to the ranger Ami talk all about how the land helps us from hurricanes and other natural disasters. Its hard to realize that just some land helps prevent your home and city from being destroyed. All around the park they were planting new tree"s because the old tree's are wearing out and falling over. We need to perseve the wetlands to halp us in the future. After we listened to the ranger Ami talk, we all went down to the river and we were being really queit because we didnt want to desterb the animals at rest. On the way to the river all we brought with us was a glove, net, and container. We caught some little fish like tadpoles, shimp, little craw fish, and more. It was a very fun educational experience, I would love to go back and learn more. I would also more than recomend this to others because it was a great experience for me and i know it would be for them too.
