Two weeks ago we went on a very exciting field trip to Jean Lafitte national park.I was in a group with my fellow classmates Ozny Calderon,Cole Casey , Josh Burton, and Chris Fernandez.We were amazed by all the cool stuff we found.We saw many different types of trees;we also saw many birds like egrets and blue jays on the Cocquille trail.We were excited to see many different animals on the trail because it was cold and quiet and we did not expect anything but we were very amused .When we were done walking our path,we went back to the shelter and grabbed our nets and headed to the small lake.We did not know what we were doing so we just went along.Our ranger told us we can catch whatever we wanted.We were happy to hear that we could actually catch something.My group only caught mud and grass but we wereamazed by the group on side of us.They caught baby crawfish and leaches too.After We left the river we got on the bus and went to Mc.Donalds and finished our great 8th grade trip.
