T.H. Harris at JLNP

When we got to Jean Lafitte National Park, we went into a place call the education center. There ranger Amy told us stuff about trees and animal. She told us that trees can help protect us from tropical storm and how they are home to the animals there.
After we finish talking Ranger took us to dip netting. There, we caught many crawfish and bugs. At first my partner and I couldn't find anything but after a while we found at least 7-10 crawfish and bugs. After we we finish dip netting we went back to the education center to go to the restroom and wait for the other group to come back and switch stuff with them. But, they didn't come back so just went ahead and went on the Coquille Trail.
There, we didn't see much but we talk about how each and every trees has a history behind it. After a while we went back to the education center and left for School.
