My experience at jlnp was amzing! I loved every second o it! First we went into this building with ranger Ami. She tould us about jlnp.I learned alot of things like cosatl reagion are slowly disapearing an animals that live their are being harmed beacause of it. Also that the trees at Jean Lafitte are very important because tehy slow down the hurricanes. After she tould us about other intersting things about Jean Lafitte we went dip netting. Where they gave us a glove, a net, and a small buket. We took those objects and went down to Bayou des Families where we used our nets an caught some animals that lived in the water. That was really fun! Some of us caught fish,crawfish,and shrimp. After that we went on a trail called the Coquille Trail. We saw all kinds of diffrent birds,bugs,and diffrent kinds of animals.This field trip was very7 intersting an fun! I loved it!
