T.H.Harris and JLNP's Culture Project

A day at Jean Lafitte National park I would of never imagined of how much fun it would be. We began by going to hear what Park Ranger Ami had to speak about the park. She first explained how we are loosing our wetlands. Ami also explained how she worked at the Statue of Liberty, which she told stories about it. We were separated into two group. One went to net fishing and the other group went to look around to see the park. I went net fishing which was so much fun. First we got a plastic box, a net and a sheet of paper so we can write many of the different things we got or what we saw. We where on a mission to see who can catch the most living organisms. Many people were able to catch craw fish, small fish's and many other organisms of which we dont know of.
