Harris at JLNP

As we came into Jean Lafitte National Park, I saw trees surrounding us. We went into the education center and talked about what we were going to do and see as we walked through Jean Lafitte National Park. The ranger Ami told us it is important for us to keep our hands to ourselves so we wouldn't hurt the animals inside of the park.As we wrapped it up with the conversation about what we were going to do we went on the Coquille Trail. We walked about forty minutes long through out the whole trail. It was important to keep quiet so that we wouldn't scare anyway of the animals inside of the park. As my team and I recorded all of what we were seeing the only animal we saw was an bird an alive one and an dead one. The plant and trees we saw cypress, plametos, fungi, tree with spanish moss, berrys, and mushrooms. I really had an great time but I would like to go back when its warm or hot so i could see more animals.
